Join ACEC California for our Annual 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards Semi-Formal Banquet!

The Engineering Excellence Awards program recognizes successfully completed projects that stand out based on the quality and complexity of the finished project. EEA is an opportunity to promote not only firms, but also professions through outstanding award-winning projects all throughout California!

With over 300 engineering and land surveying professionals in attendance, including firms & public agency clients, the EEA Banquet is hosted by our 501(c)3 Scholarship Foundation, with all proceeds benefitting the ACEC California Scholarship Foundation. By supporting the ACEC California Scholarship Foundation, you help cultivate the best and brightest of the next generation of engineers and land surveyors.

Please come in your semi-formal attire for the EEA Banquet. Some may choose long gowns, 3-piece suits or even tuxedos. ACEC California leadership will be dressed to impress.

Meet Our Emcee for the Banquet!

Over the last fourteen years John Hastings has appeared at every major comedy festival in the world including Edinburgh (2012-2019), Melbourne and Just for Laughs Montreal. He has told jokes on BBC Radio 4, BBC 1, BBC 3, Comedy Central, CTV Australian Comedy Channel, and CBC The Comedy Network. He is also the COCA Comedian of the Year, a Martin Sims Award Nominee, an Amused Moose Comedy Award winner, and was briefly a viral sensation after Dennis Rodman heckled him in Los Angeles. He was most recently spotted on America's Got Talent.

Awards Competition

The Engineering Excellence Awards call for submissions opened on July 1, 2023, and closed on September 29, 2024. Judging was held on November 9, 2023, where all projects were reviewed. Commendation, Merit, and Honor awards were announced in November, click here to view the winners. All awards will be presented on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, at the Engineering Excellence Awards Semi-Formal Banquet.
