Committees List

Committees are the backbone of ACEC California. They enable our organization to effectively carry out the goals, programs and activities that our membership desires. The ACEC California committee structure is organized into six focus groups called Program Areas: Operations and Planning; Membership Development and Services; Legislative; Procurement; Promoting the Profession; and Business Practices and the Regulatory Environment. One member of the Executive Committee is responsible for working with the committee chairs from each of the committees within a Program Area to determine each committee’s charter and goals for that year.

Committees operate on a fiscal year basis, from July to June. Prior to the start of each fiscal year, the ACEC California President takes a close look at each committee, reorganizes the committee structure as needed, and assigns volunteers to committees.
