ACEC California Staff
Tyler Munzing
Executive Director

ACEC California's Executive Director, Tyler focuses on external relations, including ACEC California chapters, ACEC National, public officials, and industries and professions that affect the membership. Tyler also oversees the ACEC California staff, finances, and implementation of the association's policies and programs. 

Previously, Tyler served as ACEC California's Director of Government Affairs for nearly seven years. Prior to joining the organization, Tyler served in the State Capitol representing multiple state legislators, most recently as Legislative Director for a Senator where he spent seven years working prominently on energy, transportation, resources, and design professional issues. Originally from Orange County, Tyler, his wife, and two kids can be found honoring their SoCal sports allegiances on any given gameday.


Brad Diede
Executive Director

Brad Diede, retiring at the end of the year, has served as ACEC California Executive Director with distinction for over a decade and is assisting with the leadership transition through December 31, 2025, ensuring a smooth handoff and continued momentum for the organization. 


Christian Anger
Director of Membership & Business Development

ACEC California’s Director of Membership & Business Development is responsible for the recruitment and retention of ACEC California's member firms, oversees the marketing and delivery of ACEC California's member services, and facilitates internal association communication with the 22 regional chapters. In addition, he oversees the creation and development of business opportunities, affinity programs, and the generation of non-dues revenue such as sponsorships and advertising for specific projects and programs.


Voleck Taing
Director of Government Affairs

Voleck is a registered lobbyist and is responsible for managing ACEC California’s state legislative activities, tying together the organization’s policy agency and political objectives to enhance the engineering and land surveying profession. Their responsibilities include developing and directing the organization’s legislative program while strengthening and maintaining coalition relationships with ACEC California members, other associations industry leaders, and elected officials. They provide political counsel to ACEC California’s leadership, execute robust grassroots efforts with members and advance efforts that positions the organization as a thought leader on business and policy areas of interest to the engineering and surveying professions.

Prior to joining ACEC California, Voleck served as Sr. Vice President of Government Relations for a regional business association and prior to that, they served as legislative director for former California State Assembly Majority Leader and three respected former Assemblymembers

 

Gabriela Cervantes
Government Affairs Advocate

Gaby is a registered lobbyist and is responsible for managing ACEC California’s advocacy efforts. Her responsibilities include working with the legislative team to develop and direct the organization’s legislative program while strengthening and maintaining coalition relationships with ACEC California members, other associations industry leaders, and elected officials. She provides political counsel to ACEC California’s leadership, executes robust grassroots efforts with members and advances efforts that position the organization as a thought leader on business and policy areas of interest to the engineering and surveying professions. 

Gaby assists with the campaign to equip ACEC California’s members with an understanding of QBS law and educate local agencies about QBS statute and benefits. She engages with agencies on RFPs/RFQs that contain QBS violations on behalf of member firms.


Jennifer Horne
Policy Outreach Director

ACEC California’s Policy Outreach Director is the point of contact for all issues related to Qualifications-Based Selection; the procurement method that federal, state, and local agencies are required to utilize in their selection of engineers, land surveyors, and other design professionals. As the Policy Outreach Director, Jennifer is spearheading a campaign to equip ACEC California's members with an understanding of QBS law and educate local agencies about QBS statute and benefits. She also accepts RFPs/RFQs that contain QBS violations and confidentially engages with agencies on behalf of member firms. Jennifer serves as staff liaison to the QBS and Local Agency Contracts, Caltrans Liaison, and Prevailing Wage Law committees, as well as the Caltrans Advisory Group.


Danielle Fournier
Events & Marketing Manager

Danielle is responsible for leading the design, planning/logistics, execution, and engagement strategy for ACEC California’s meetings and events. As the Events & Marketing Manager, she works closely with the ACEC California staff and event planning committees to produce events that add value and increase member involvement. Some of the events that ACEC California produces are the Annual Conference, Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet, Legislative Visit Day, quarterly Board of Directors Meetings, Fundraisers for our National PAC and informational webinars.


Stephanie Reed
Office Manager

ACEC California’s Office Manager oversees the day-to-day functions of the ACEC California office and serves as the HR manager. Stephanie manages the clerical staff and organizes special projects such as major mailings, convention and seminar preparations. She plays a vital role in events management and the Annual Conference, including coordinating the donations for the Scholarship raffle and silent auction. Stephanie oversees the membership database and is responsible for preparing, sending out, and maintaining all dues records. Stephanie is the Executive Secretary to both the Health Insurance Trust and the Scholarship Foundation.


Holly Cole
Financial Manager

ACEC California's Financial Manager plans, organizes, develops, implements, and executes budgeting, forecasting, reporting and any other financial tasks for ACEC California, the Political Action Committee, and the Scholarship Foundation. Holly is also responsible for reporting all political and lobbying activities to the required governmental offices as well as the Fair Political Practice Commission. Holly staffs our Scholarship Foundation Program.


Beckie Liu
Executive Assistant & Publications Coordinator

Beckie serves as the assistant to the Executive Director and Publications Coordinator. She manages the annual full rosters of committees and chapter officers while also providing administrative support to the BMI, Caltrans Liaison, Caltrans Advisory Group, Executive, and Grassroots Legislative committees. She prepares the Board of Director’s meeting materials, takes minutes for Board meetings, and updates the annual Leadership Manual. Beckie is the main contact person for all inquiries regarding the ACEC California statute publications handling everything from the invoicing and shipping to the annual updating of the publications themselves.


Janae Breslin
Communications & Website Coordinator

Janae maintains the ACEC California website, social media accounts, and electronic communications. She designs and produces both digital and print materials for ACEC California. In addition, Janae provides direct support to the Office Manager and the Director of Membership & Business Development.

Her responsibilities include maintaining the membership database, updating monthly chapter rosters, and staffing the Membership Engagement & Belonging Committee. She also provides assistance to the Scholarship Foundation and offers general support to the ACEC California team. 


Natalie Hannah
Office Administrator

Natalie distributes the ACEC California monthly newsletter, legislative brief, and assists with social media accounts. She helps maintain the membership database, and is general website support. She also is AR support, she communicates with members and assists collecting financial dues. Natalie is administrative support for the Director of Government Affairs and the Director of Policy Outreach's different committees. She also assists on the Engineering Excellence Awards Program, Attorney's Roundtable, and provides general assistance for the ACEC California Staff.
