Brad Diede

Executive Director 

  

ACEC California's Executive Director focuses on external relations, including ACEC California chapters, ACEC national, public officials, and industries and professions that affect the membership. Brad also oversees the ACEC California staff, finances, and implementation of the association's policies and programs. He serves as staff liaison on the following committees: Executive, CA-ACEC-PAC Board of Governors, Public Relations, ACEC national PAC, ACEC Retirement Trust, Organization & Planning, Nominating, Prevailing Wage Law, Caltrans Liaison, Rail (including High Speed Rail) Liaison, Corps of Engineers Liaison, and Associated General Contractors Liaison.

 

 

 


Christian Anger

Membership Director

 

ACEC California’s Membership Director is responsible for the recruitment and retention of ACEC California's member firms, oversees the marketing and delivery of ACEC California's member services, and facilitates internal association communication with the 22 local regional chapters. In addition, he works to develop member affinity programs, additional revenue sources, and is the staff liaison to the Membership Committee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Tyler Munzing

Director of Government Affairs

 

ACEC California’s Director of Government Affairs is responsible for managing ACEC California's state legislative activities, tying together the organization’s policy agenda and political objectives with the promotion of the engineering and land surveying profession. Prior to joining ACEC California, Tyler served in the State Capitol representing multiple state legislators, most recently as Legislative Director for a Senator where he spent seven years working prominently on energy, transportation, resources, and design professional issues.  He serves as staff liaison to the Legislative, Grassroots, Water Resources, and BMI committees, as well as the Architects and Engineers Conference Committee.

 

 


Jennifer Horne 

Policy Outreach Director

 

ACEC California’s Policy Outreach Director is the point of contact for all issues related to Qualifications-Based Selection; the procurement method that federal, state, and local agencies are required to utilize in their selection of engineers, land surveyors, and other design professionals. As the Policy Outreach Director, Jennifer is spearheading a campaign to equip ACEC California's members with an understanding of QBS law and educate local agencies about QBS statute and benefits. She also accepts RFPs/RFQs that contain QBS violations and confidentially engages with agencies on behalf of member firms.  Jennifer serves as staff liaison to the QBS and Local Agency Contracts, Professional Surveyors, BPELSG, Caltrans Liaison, and Prevailing Wage Law committees.

 


Stephanie Reed 

Office Manager

 

ACEC California’s Office Manager oversees the day-to-day functions of the ACEC California office and serves as the HR manager. Stephanie manages the clerical staff and organizes special projects such as major mailings, convention and seminar preparations. She plays a vital role in events management and the Strategic Summit, including coordinating the donations for the Scholarship raffle and silent auction. Stephanie oversees the membership database and is responsible for preparing, sending out, and maintaining all dues records.  Stephanie is the Executive Secretary to both the Health Insurance Trust and the Scholarship Foundation. Holly Cole 

Accounting Manager

 

ACEC California's Accounting Manager maintains the financial records for ACEC California, the Health Insurance Trust, the Political Action Committee, the Communication Foundation, and the Scholarship Foundation. Holly is also responsible for reporting all political and lobbying activities to the required governmental offices as well as the Fair Political Practice Commission. Holly staffs our Engineering Excellence Committee and also oversees our Engineering Excellence Awards program.

 


Lauren Jeglinski

Executive Coordinator & Board Liaison

 

Lauren assists the Executive Director, Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She provides administrative support to committees within the Services Program Area, and works closely with the Prevailing Wage Committee and Political Action Committee. She distributes ACEC California's monthly newsletter, News & Events. Lauren maintains current lists of committees and chapter officers and coordinates political fundraising events. She compiles the Board of Director’s meeting materials and assists in preparation for the Engineering Excellence Awards event benefiting the Scholarship Fund. Additionally, she handles legislative appointments for the Executive Director.

 


Breanna Pineda
Legislative & Programs Coordinator

 

Breanna assists the Director of Government Affairs. She provides support for legislation tracking, legislative reports and briefs, preparation of signature requests, and support and oppose letters. Breanna assists the Director of Government Affairs with administrative matters related to his committees. She also assists with public relations projects regarding social media, blog posts, constant contact emails and the creation of ACEC California flyers. She is involved in every aspect of the preparation for the Legislative Visit Day event. Breanna also participates in the ACEC California Scholarship Foundation and Scholarship Committee.

 


Paige Madden

Membership & Communications Coordinator

 

Paige assists the Membership Director here in the ACEC California office. She is responsible for maintaining ACEC California's membership database, distributing ACEC California's monthly chapter rosters, and assisting with the recruitment of new members. Paige updates and maintains the ACEC California website along with being the contact person for Job Postings. Additionally, she helps with the organizing and planning of the annual Strategic Summit.



Beckie Liu
Publications Coordinator

 

Beckie is the main contact person for all inquiries regarding the ACEC California statute publications including invoicing, shipping and the annual updating of the publications themselves. She carries out general office responsibilities, answers the phones, and assists with mailings. Contact Beckie at publications@acec-ca.org.

 


Jenny Devine

Events Specialist

 

Jenny is the contracted Events Specialist for ACEC California. The Events Manager's key responsibilities are to plan, promote and evaluate various ACEC California meetings, including ACEC California's Strategic Summit, quarterly Board of Directors meetings, seminars, and committee meetings.
