Congratulations to our ACEC California 2018-2019 Scholarship Recipients!

 

The American Council of Engineering Companies, California announced the recipients of the 2018-2019 Scholarship Foundation awards. ACEC California's Scholarship Foundation annually awards scholarships to deserving graduate or undergraduate college students working toward a degree in engineering or land surveying, with the top award recipients nominated to apply for the ACEC National scholarship competition.


This year, eleven students received scholarship funds – five graduate students and six undergraduate students. In all, the Scholarship Foundation awarded a total of $52,000 in scholarship funds.

 

 

 

2018-2019 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

 

 

Neelgopal Anderson

Neelgopal is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at San Jose State University.

 

Tamika Bassman 

Tamika is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at University of California, Berkeley.

 

 

Katherine Cheng

Katherine is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Berkeley.

 

 

Alec Jobbins

Alec is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Berkeley.

 

Muhammed Khan

Muhammed is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at University of the Pacific.

 

 

Linda Lim

Linda is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Fresno.

 

 

Tahrima Alam

Tahrima is pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Fresno.

 

 

 Hector Marquez

Hector is pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at Cal State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

 

 

Ross Miller

Ross is pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis

at California State University, Fullerton.

 

 

Trenton Saunders

Trenton is pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering

at University of California, Los Angeles.

 

 

 

Samantha Whetten-Monroe

Samantha is pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Fresno.
